I have a ton of jewelry design books and magazines. This one is one of my favorites. I have been beading for about 5 years and am primarily a bead stringer. I dabble in wirework, but I am not very good. Having said that, this book is all about making earrings with wire, chains and beads. It explains the design techniques so well, that I was able to make several pairs of earrings from this book within the first 24 hours of receiving it. I don't remember the last time I had a jewelry design book and needed to make the projects right away. I have made about 5 so far, and am planning on trying about 20 + more when I find the time. I actually went out and bought more wire to make the earrings in this book. It is amazing, and I highly recommend to anyone.

I was looking forward to this book for a while, but wasn't sure what to expect. Most jewelry books are for beginners (I'm an experienced wire wrapper) and I never find anything that I would want to make for myself. So, when I picked this book up, I was in AWE because it was amazing. The projects were unbelievably gorgeous and I actually learned something new! The author mentions many celebrities (all earrings have celebrity names (for example, Gwyneth, Ellen, Reese, etc.)) and I loved that! So, if you like modern designs and want to know what celebrities wear right now, pick this book up. You won't regret it!
